Best Place to Get Organic Nitrogen
If you are like me and enjoy organic gardening, then you have probably wondered whats the best way to get Nitrogen to my plants? The simple answer is urea (thats pee to some folks)Urea contains large amounts or ammonia nitrates such as found in ammonium nitrate that you can buy at farm co-ops. Just mix it in a bucket with water at a 20 to 1 ratio. Thats one part urea to 20 parts water. Never apply urea directly as it will burn your plants right up and is a good way to kill weeds around fences, and best of all its free and plentiful. Don't be squeamish as after all if you do organic gardening, your main fertilizers will be manure of some kind. |
