Pressure Washers
Its Summer time again, and one of the jobs that come with it, is keeping your car and home clean on the outside. Now you can do it the old fashion way with a sponge and a bucket, or you can opt for the easy way and get yourself a pressure washer. Pressure washers come in many different styles. You can get a high pressure washer or a low pressure washer. Most use cold water from the garden hose but some of them use an oil fired burner that heats up the water to promote better cleaning and almost all of them have a tube that you run to a bucket or bottle of soap, or else they have a built in tank that holds it.
Pressure washers come in all different pressure ratings, anywhere from 1000 to 5000 psi and up so get one that right for you. The biggest mistake most people make is getting one that doesn't put out enough pressure. I myself would not buy one with under 2500 psi as this is about the minimum needed for washing a car, anything under this is only good for washing lawn furniture or spraying off porches. They are a great tool to have around the house and it sure beats the old sponge and a bucket. |
